@design_RG Personally I dont care if Gore or Trump go to court. Thats democracy, if people think things are unfair thats how we resolve it. I'm all for testing the accuracy and fairness of the election system.
What I do take issue with is the hypocrisy of people trying to play it off like Trump is undermining democracy and doesnt care about America by going to court.. especially after 4 years of democrats trying to overturn the election and after Gore did the same thing a few years ago...

Going to court, even one selectively packed to his advantage, is not the core of this.
Actively campaigning to discredit the elections system, for months before the election date. That is.

While I dont know what evidence he has yet, and that will determine if he is in the right, I can say taht simply believing in election fraud and being wrong (A commonly held belief as few us trust the american government) isnt all that damaging. At worst that makes him what we already knew he was, an idiot, not much more.

With all due respect, im not sure the point being made by highlighting that quote. I beleive the statements made in that quote are known and accepted by all members in the conversation, not sure it is adding anything. Though I may just not be understanding what point you are trying to make so please feel free to clarify if so.

ahh I see, thanks for sharing that. I think Rob does recognize that, though for some reason he thinks Gore's 36 day fight to the top of the court system over something that wasnt even fraud was "graceful" while trumps not even 24 hours of talk about fighting actual fraud (presuming it turns out to be true) is not graceful. which is more the disconnect.
Though I fail to see how one is anymore graceful than the other. Well except for trumps usual lack of charisma.

'Graceful' was in allowing the SCOTUS word to be the final point of that episode. When apparently he, Al Gore, would be the winner if a fair recount was complete in that single state on whose outcome the whole contest depended on.
I have read that the Gore team did have other avenues to continue the fight - and he gracefully turned that down, and let it stand as the whole world was watching the never end show and dispute.
To have someone in the highest Executive office in the country come out and preemptively denounce, months ahead, an upcoming election where they are involved in - that is really serious.
The best would be if the gentleman conceded, as they are mostly full of hot air and no solid proof has been advanced so far.
To drag this on just adds salt to the wounds this man inflicted on American society.
Sadly, the country is too important and affects everyone else.
End of Empire is never pretty, but we all would be in better conditions if the hegemon was reduced in size.
I usually don't get involved in US political discussions, but all the rest of this planet has been affected by this circus for the past 4 years.
Time to change. I wish Elizabeth Warren was the incoming president elect, but there was a process, and mr Biden is the one. I sincerely wish him and Miss Harris the best.

Alright, though still not sure how that is relevant to Trump who has not reached the supreme court and therefore has not had the chance to be tested to see if he would accept their ruling or not.
So still seems like, at best, an irrrelevant comparison, and at worse, an unfair one.
Here is the thing, we have agreed since day one Trump isnt a suitable president. so arguing that it is time for change isnt really up for debate, we agree. If you and others were rallying behind a moral person (which in this case would be any of the third party options) then that would even be a respectable stance.
But thats not how it played out, people actively showed support and made excuses for Biden, a person who was so commited to segregation he started his whole career riding a pro-segregation agenda. So great, you faught against Trump and got him out of office, I am happy for that... But you replaced him with a far more ethically deplorable president.
**Here we are, the end result being the first Segregationist as president in living history**... points for intent, points for getting trump out of office. Next time how about supporting someone and doing it in a way that doesnt make matters worse. Again, never have been so ashamed to be American than today.
