Hmm, is there a known bug, #mastodon ? Getting "rate limited, try again later" when posting after coming back from other things.

@admitsWrongIfProven I have seen it a few time s(im the admin) but been asking and no one else saw it, so i thought it was just me. You are the first other user who said they experienced this.
since it is now concerned to be not just me I kicked off an investigation, gonna try to solve this asap before any other users experience it.
@freemo Is the browser tab you used also open for days on end? I always open a new tab for viewing notifications, main tab open forever.

@freemo Please advise on how to determine that - i have the browser frontend and did not change a setting with that name.

@freemo Nope, just came back from other activities, looked at new post and started to compose an answer.
i clicked toot anyway (of course), nothing happened, opened my home feed in a new tab and tooted again, bam two toots.
@freemo Same here, but just a week. Could be a clue.
