So I decided to post the article I wrote (linked below) on twitter and am going to dump some money into promoting it there. Gotta get some attention to this. Go boost over on twitter if you'd like.

Eugen Rochko, CEO of Mastodon, Caves to Nazi's Agenda

@Gargron

@freemo@qoto.org @Gargron Are you seriously going to throw money at Elon Musk's sinking ship to promote fedi drama of all thing?

Why do you care that much? At some point you should just accept Gargron is an idiot and go your own way, right?

@SuperDicq its less to to do with gargron than it does the impression of the entire fediverse, which is partly fueled by him

@freemo@qoto.org What positive thing for the impression of the fediverse do you want to achieve with this article?

Follow

@SuperDicq the ideal would be to realize they need to fact check and not rely on gossip and for gargron to know that if he does whats popular, knowing it is unethical, it has consequences because it will be exposed and cause harm, so hopefully he will reconsider that and not cause said harm

@freemo@qoto.org First you say it has less to do about Gargron but this entire answer is mostly about Gargron.

But about the "people shouldn't rely on gossip" part, how relevant is this for Twitter users?
