dads.cool has had qoto suspended ever since they implemented a circumvention of follow requests that allows qoto users to subscribe to non-followers-only posts of any user, including ones with locked follow requests. they still offer this "feature" btw. #dadmin
the classic qoto thing about this is they say it's a way to "monitor harassers". yes, everyone wants to put harassers in their timelines to make sure they're not harassing

@alex Not surprisingly a lie from glitterkitten. Below are screenshots, as can be seen we never had a **single** report from their instance.
either that means the admin is bald face lying, or they reported us but did not check the "forward" box so we never got the report.
Regardless our rules have always been that we would suspend any user who did such a thing, but we cant act on something if we arent made aware of it.
Second as to the subscribe feature, you may not know this but its **already** built in on all mastodon servers in a sense.. all accounts have a RSS feed that give you access to public-only toots. Our subscribe feature gives you the exact same level of access as a RSS reader.
