@freemo I really love Nix but my first attempt to use declarative package manager was Guix.
I thought there are so many reasons to use Guix. guix home, guix services and so on.
@0xch4n those all have equivelants in Nix
@freemo and that's why I'm currently using Nix...
In Guix, services are not as plenty as Nix, and writing Guix expression was cumbersome to me. then I found the home-manager.

I'd be interested in how many folks have even tried both.
I run nixos and stick with it cause it works for me. Never tried guix and even if it's better I can't see myself switching. Too invested at this point.
@iooioio I have not tried guix, just nixos. I did read accounts of people who tried both before I decided on nix (though frankly most people who tried both seemed to prefer guix)
