@freemo @jeffcliff @jreleaser self hosted gitlab is fine. But I wouldn't trust the woke staff of gitlab not to out me if I was hosting problematic shit. I'm sure github employs woke morons too, it is a tech company after all. But Microsoft, being a soulless pinnacle of capitalism would absolutely rip any misbehaving employee a new asshole for anything like that

Github has a known history of suspending accounts for political reasons... not aware of any such history with gitlab.
@freemo @jreleaser @jeffcliff I'm worried about data being leaked from private repos. A company publicly choosing not to do business with you is totally fine. Take your business everywhere
