@ottocrat one thing that is clear from discussions of rail infrstructure in ghr companies i visist... their feasability is all about population density.
England has a very small fraction of the population density if china. The cost to benefit ratio, therefor, is much less.
@freemo Hmm, not sure I buy that. The UK has very dense population corridors ideally suited for high speed rail, much like our neighbours who have invested.
