@freemo Nah, i'd guess any club will only care for its members. Freemasons or others, what benefit would a club have if not boost its members? If it was generally beneficial, what would a club membership mean?

Just a bit distracted here, sorry... someone boosted multiple people with swastikas, and i am thinking on how can one hurt people over the internet.

@admitsWrongIfProven Well as I understand it the freemasons do have special charity and programs exclusive to members and their family. But charity is a central tenant of the organization and a great deal of charity is open to everyone.

@freemo Ah, i see. As an american you are not partial to something like social or medical insurance... carry on, you are on the right path. A bit more, and you might even discover how humans became the prime species!

@freemo I have no idea, but I assume it was in the deep south where he grew up and went to college on the GI bill in the 50's. I can't ask him, sorry, he's been gone for awhile.

@freemo oh bummer I've looked at the great lodge of Quebec and they say you have to believe in a supreme being. I'm an agnostic.

@louisrcouture Yea, atheists cant join.. agnostics, probably not. The supreme being requirement can be anything you want. It is forbidden to discuss religion at the lodges so you will never be asked what religion you are, but they do expect you to believe in something.

What about believing in science? The way some antivaxxers treat it, it sure is some 'supreme being' to be avoided. :P
