@freemo @jeffcliff @luckytran There are only two obvious ways COVID ends. 1) the virus evolves to become less harmful, as most viruses do, or 2) everyone it's going to kill dies.
I am an N95 mask user and have not got obvious COVID symptoms, although I got positive antibody test in 2021. I wonder if wearing an N95 increases the chance of an asymptomatic case providing immunity.

#1 we have basically seen happening.. Thats not COVID ending thats just COVID not mattering as much so people stop caring. Thankfully COVID is already less lethal than earlier strains though.
#2 very unlikely given the nature of this particular disease. After multiple generations maybe, but not soon.
I have had COVID 7 verified times myself so far.
@freemo @jeffcliff @luckytran Well if long COVID is as bad as they say, and 1/4 or so of humans end up with it, this wave of civilizational progress just ended. That is what worries me.
People can and should mask up and use common sense, but preventing spread failed even in totalitarian states.
We need to focus on early treatment, and preventing long COVID.
