You have a scholarly source on that? I cant imagine how scientists could think that in recent history since we can literally see sharks sleeping all the time (as my video demonstrates).

I am talking decades ago.
But, IIRC, it was thought that because no one had observed sleeping sharks.
As you demonstrated, they do.
