Three facts:
1) I havent seen the barbie move
2) My feed is filled with people claiming white middle age men are outraged by the movie
3) I havent seen a single white middle aged man in my feed mention the movie even once.
@admitsWrongIfProven I think Ben Shipiro complained about it, which i guess is the same as "all middle age white men" or something.
@freemo Cool, i must be young then. No way i'm old or gained the ability to change gender or color at will.
@admitsWrongIfProven The fact that ben is Jewish, and generally race-politics types dont consider Jews white... so there is that.
Pretty sure white is pretty fluid for most of these people. When you start disagreeing with them you are white regardless of the reality.

Now I'm outraged about the lack of outrage. I'm also middle-aged and white, so there's that.
@IAmErik I was outraged that there was outrage over outrage when in fact there is a lack of outrage, but now that you are outraged I am outraged that you are outraged when there should be a lack of outrage!
@freemo I'd watch it, I just haven't had occasion to do so. My wife avoids crowds as it triggers panic and anxiety for her. I'm "curious," but not enough to particularly care to go see it.
@freemo Sounds like astroturfing reverse psychology marketing... i have neither heard anyone complain personally, just some meh quality memes about controversy or how the "controversy" was not cool.
