Seeing Trump in full melt-down mode and loosing his shit is the best gift anyone could have gotten me... I mean regardless of what i think he is or isnt guilty of, he is a horrible person so I am more than happy he is in full panic.

To be fair his popularity is kinda hard to explain.. Id like to think its just the incompetence of Biden, which I can get behind... but part of me thinks there are idiots out there who legitimately support Trump on his own merit... that is scary.
@freemo His popularity in 2016 was not hard to explain. A lot of people feel like the USA is not what it once was, and the income figures back that up. He was the only one promising to fix it.
His popularity now is mostly due to the fact that nobody younger, smarter, and more strategic has stepped up to lead his movement.
@mike805 Yea its no surprise people drifted to a non-politician.. but one who is so over the top dysfunctional is astounding all the same.
@freemo Unfortunately the people who can rally supporters to their cause are usually egotists, and often bad leaders.

I would not be surprised. His polls have gone up as the legal process against him increased. He has joked that one more indictment would win him the election.
He might well have concluded that his best shot of winning the election and saving his ass long term is to get the judge angry enough to lock him up, at least temporarily.
