@freemo My language has even greater troubles: we have an object case, but we assign genders to objects. Absolute pandemonium.

@admitsWrongIfProven What if you just droped the genders your language prescribed and used them at face value? Would people just look at you like a nut?

@freemo If i would do that, i would describe people as objects. They would surely object to that.
People see me as a nut in any case, i just select those that accept that as acceptable for my company. Gotta select for reasonable criteria.

@freemo This is rather common and you see it happening all the time: English activist terms and phrases that do not translate really well into other languages for a variety of reasons, gender being one of them, other being that entire concepts are foreign.

You see this here, even Welsh had some issues with foreign and invasive concepts.
