We absolutely dont give animals the credit for how intelligent they really are.. The more I learn about animals the more I realize we underestimate them.
Them having emotion is not even in debate for me, that is quite clear from the moment you interact with them.

Yes I agree here, I think there is also a lot of evidence to suggest they have emotion esp if a group member dies or is killed the rest of the group seem to change their behaviour
