On Election Day 2024, which of these people will be on the presidential ballot in half the states or more?

This is why we need to keep supporting efforts to undermine the party system and First Past The Post.

(Though to be fair, Joe Biden is actually a good president, and the mainstream media is just not reporting on it)

tragic is that DP has no better than 80yo man

USA politics

@fredbrooker @raccoon this is kind of ageist. Can you break this down in a way that isn't about age?

USA politics

@evan @raccoon

it's about power, mind, body... 😂 countries should be ruled by people in their 40s

@fredbrooker @evan
I don't necessarily disagree that we need to see more politicians below retirement age, simply because there's a strong lack of representation for anyone who isn't going to die in the next couple decades, or even has to wait to collect social security instead of having to work, but that's a systemic problem, a demographic problem, not a problem of Joe Biden.

We're asking your issue with Joe Biden himself. Objectively speaking, he's getting the job done.

@raccoon @evan

I'd like to see a Democrat ~50 or 60, it's evident that Joe is over, I can see it and hear it when he speaks (I am 49)

Its not about age, its about senility and mental function... Biden is clearly senile and does not have the mental capacity to function in ANY role, let alone a presidency. The fact that this mental decline is age related is tangental at best.

Trump is a great counter example, he too clearly doesnt have the mentality to be in charge. But his mental insufficiency is in no way related to his age. He was mentally incapable of being in charge even from an early age.

But Biden isn't senile. There's no evidence of serious mental decline. He's acting as he always has.

Remember, Trump was the source of the idea that Biden is suffering from age-related conditions, repeating a lie until it's forced into discussion is basically his primary tactic in undermining democracy and rule-of-law. The stability-hostile mainstream media repeats it because Biden has been effective and stable, the opposite of Trump.

Yea that has no basis in reality and is tremendously obvious to anyone who has followed his older work as I have. As is well known at this point Biden is a long-time friend of the family, he has been coming to my parents home for dinner since before I was born... So obviously to me, someone who has obviously seen him speak in the early years, it is undeniable he is senile.

That said, its really shocking you would say that and actually ever bothered to see how he acted int he past... The only way I can understand how you could say that is if you never saw him speak int he past and just made that up.... but either way easily remedied...

Here is a video of him from the 80's talking, it was just the first hit I got:

Meanwhile here is the stuff we routinely get... he slurs his words, looks confused, and often goes off into complete random gibberish... he has been seen trying to shake hands with people who arent there.. yea clearly he has mentally declined.
