@darnell Its probably the first time Israelis have expiernced the kind of horror they have been inflicting on the palestinians for nearly a century.. Obviously doesnt make Hamas right... but it also doesnt wash away what the jews have done

@darnell I was living there just until recently.. yes im aware.
And your right comparing them isnt fair.. israel isworse... they took their land and piled them into ghettos, turned off their electricity and water as punishment and let them stew in their own feces... yes the hamas has been at it for decades, as have the Israelis, and of the two the isrtaelis have done worse over the years.

@freemo 🙄 #Israel 🇮🇱 was attacked by all of their neighbors as soon as the little land they were given (which is on their ancestral land by the way) declared state hood. Most of the land they gained was from spoils of defensive wars.

Correct, when they tried to steal land fromt he people already living there, they were attacked for invading...
**no one** has the right to take away the land of the peoples who have lived there for generations.
The fact that they lived there 2000 years ago has no relevance to the people who are and were living there now.
No one is saying what the hamas does is right.. but it pales in comparison to the genocide Israel has inflicted on the region.
It is **never** ok to take someone eleses lang for yourself, in war thats one of the worst of crimes. Even germany didnt have an iota of land taken from them as a consequence of WWII... or right the palestianians had **their** land taken from them... the guys who didnt actually do anything to contribute to WWII.

@freemo Actually Jewish people have been living in the area continuously since the Roman Empire expelled them, so technically they never left.
Also, it is their ancestral & national land. They reclaimed it back after the holocaust.
Last but not least, you sound like a #Hamas sympathizer, claiming #Israel 🇮🇱 is “worse.” I do not see Jewish folks publicly raping, & beating civilians in the streets.

No I am a palestine sympathizer.. but that doesnt mean i find what hamas did was ok... my general take on it is "Two war crimes dont make a right".
Yes israel did worse by comminting genocide and taking land from native peoples... starving them to death intentionally and letting them rot from disease is as bad if not worse than raping women and children in terms of overall suffering inflicted... To say israel is worse doesnt **excuse** the hamas at all.. it just points out there is another evil as well and that evil is just as bad or worse.

@darnell I lived there for years up until just a few months ago... I've seen it first hand from both sides (I was there to conduct business in Israel but I made it a point to spend time with the paletinians and take a deep look at the conflict).
Have you ever been there or bothered to see it. or you just taking sides from afar?

I am glad to hear that, arguing from a point of expiernce is important... But sounds like you went to the beach.. but it sounds like you avoided allt he worst atocities like Gaza, so apparently you didnt get the full picture of how they are treated or their living conditions. It is awful.

@freemo Yes, I visited both #Israel 🇮🇱 as well as the West Bank (I never visited Gaza for security reasons). I enjoyed the company of Israeli & Arabs, especially along the beach.
I still have a few friends in Israel 🇮🇱 & they are thankfully safe.
