Had another meeting with #Freemasons today. They just need to have a fina vote and im in. By the sounds of it they expect me to be accepted. Very exciti ng.
@freemo Do you love them more than us, hmmm?
Joking of course, love is not rationed.
GL with your buddies, hope you hit it off!
@admitsWrongIfProven its too early for me to really have a strong opinion of them. But so farthey seem like good guys.
Seems promising.
@freemo Any human interaction where someone actually tries to understand you is to be treasured.
So, as i said, good luck. Anything that happens, you have the tools to evaluate if it is good. If they appreciate you that would be a nice thing.
@admitsWrongIfProven yea these guys seem to have meaningful conversations without the drama. So i. In for that alone.
@freemo I just hope your bias for profits regulating human interaction is not smudging this. If they make you disadvantage the poor, please think twice :-)
@admitsWrongIfProven why would freemasons, an organization that has a large emphesis on charity towards the poor do that.
@freemo How do you act charitably without extracting money first?
Where does it come from, did you create as much value as you donate? Is there any account on how that happened or is it set what you deem acceptable?
I might be a little devil on your neck, but i do think it must be clear what did the people donating do to have what they donate.
Are you donating work or tokens?
Most of the value is produced by man hoirs. You are encouraged to donate to the poor of course, but a lot of the focus is getting together and investing time in charitable works.
Its both. Free masons do donate a lot of their money to help, but it goes habd in hand with donating the time. Usually freemasons organize charity events. They fund them, encourage others to join, but also donate their time to execute the events as well as the charity they entail.
The specific sort of charity seems defined by the appe dant group you join. Shriners for example are all about hospitals and the disabled.
