I really wish they made 20$ and 100$ coins... A part of me really wants to carry around my money in a little leather sack, maybe with a few gemstones in case im ever in a pinch.
@freemo Sounds cool until you put 100$ into a coin operated machine with a broken return function... or into one that gives change in small coins ^^
So... kind of not well adapted to automation.
@admitsWrongIfProven In the usa our coins are of significantly different sizes for this very reason. The more expensive the coin the thicker it is. So you can never put an overvalued coin in a slot only an undervalued one.
@freemo Ah, that sounds sensible. Any machine selling top value of x will not accept a thickness over 10x. Yeah, i want a leather pouch too in that scenario.

@freemo there are collectible euro coins which have a value of 20€ and iirc are an official means of payment ;)
