Its a lot of fun that I am starting a company from scratch and get to hire everyone and make all the rules... For example I am making sure that every single person I hire is comfortable with using linux and open-source tools, and writing documents in latex and markdown. Even management. It is pretty sweet!

@freemo I can't find fault in weeding out the microsoft serfs or the macos cultists, but how tf can you start a company every year? Do you have so much money lying around you don't actually need a company to live well?

@admitsWrongIfProven I dont start one every year, but most people I know when they start a company im the first one they offer shares to to join, or investors are usually pretty eager to invest in anything i do due to my trackrecord of success.

I mean i literally invented the fastest and most accurate COVID detection method in the world just last year and it only took me 3 months (the company that made me a partner to do it had tried and failed for 3+ years with a full team)

@freemo It triggered a memory of the big pile, like with Uber. If the pile is big enough, there's gotta be a pony under there somewhere.

@admitsWrongIfProven Ha, the guy who was the original investor in uber is actually one of the guys who has been known to support me :)
