Even now 10 years later every once in a while I forget Blue (my dog) is dead and almost go to call for her before I remember... right in the feels.
@trinsec I would, except i immediately began traveling instead and now i travel too much to ever have a dog.
If I ever have a family though a family dog will be a must. Me and my girlfriend have agreed on that and already tentitively picked the breed

@trinsec She wants a golden retriever, and im breed agnostic. I love all medium to large dogs
@freemo@qoto.org Oh cool, a standard family dog breed. I think we had one until I was about one year old. After that I grew up with a Hovawart and a Border Collie.
@trinsec border colies are a nice breed :) I like pits and muts.
@freemo@qoto.org Border collies are insanely hyperactive. :P I actually liked the Hovawart better. We had a black and tan one. Dumb as fuck but he was cool. :)
@trinsec see I love hyperactive dogs. Blue was that way.. she wore her emotions on her sleeve I would say.

And now Sjimmie's hopped on my lap and is purring while I type this.
