what would happen if you did geometric algebra on circles instead of planes

would that work :neocat_thonk:

:blobcatphoto: stop trying to replace quaternions quinn

@icedquinn Im confused, how is non-euclidean geometry a reinvention of quanternions? They are just a higher dimensional form of vector that looses commutativity at the higher dimensions but otherwise is more or less of the same nature as at lower dimensions.

Am I missing some math tidbit here?

@freemo just some book using imaginary numbers to represent signals in four states and me hating on imaginary numbers

@icedquinn ohh, yea i love imaginaries personally.

But yea we use that to model EE stuff all the time :)

@freemo yup. that's what it is. eric dollar's book on versor algebra.
@freemo he kind of just restates the thesis for 200 pages and doesn't seem to say why anyone should care :blobcatgoogly:

@icedquinn I dont know the specific book, but I do know the topic.. while they are supper useful if you understand them most people dont understand them (or much of what they use). Most people know how to use it and the math to do, but dont understand it.
