funny how this guy accuses me of harassment and doesnt bother to actually give a screenshot or a post... either way I do feel deeply sadened he feels this way and apologize.

That said I went through my entire search history, literally every interaction I ever had with him. Literally all of it is overwhelming examples of me supporting him and being nice and doing everything I could to be kind and welcoming to him... not one exmaple of nastiness. Here are tthe examples:

Yet not one post could i find of me "harassing him" and i just spent a while looking... It doesnt help he has never once mentioned to me any concerns, never reported, nothing for me to know what he is talking about... regardless if he felt that way I am deeply sorry. But if he doesnt want to engage i cant force him.

Well to be fair he does claim itt was "harassment".. which is a serious accusation and if true would jusitfy blocking QOTO.

The problem is he doesnt even bother providing a screenshot or link to a single example, never reported a single example that could be acted on, nothing...

Thats the common MO.. lots of accusations, and not one damn example to actually act on... look ill be the first to apologize if i was insensitive but I remember going out of my way to try to be welcoming and kind when he brought up his server... so my guess is there is no screenshot because nothing really happened of incident.

I have no clue what he could possibly mean by harassment. But I did apologize that he felt attacked.

I will say this, he never reported any incidents, not even about me (I can not moderate reports about me and I would have been suspended if i had done that)... So we could never act, never even know it was happening.

Even now he isnt posting any specific examples so its impossible to act on or evaluate.

@david I am very saddened to hear you felt harassed. I was never aware of this, in fact all IU recall is going out of my way to support you, help with technical issues on your server, and promote your instance. Then one day out of nowhere just saw us blocked and never knew why.

If i knew you felt attacked, even accidentally, I would have apologized much sooner. But just to be clear I am very sad to hear you ever felt attacked by me or any of our users, very sorry that happened.

Please feel free to report or share any such incidents from me or our users and they will be suspended,. I can not vote on moderation issues about me so it would even result in my own suspension, so please feel free to report.

Thats not entierly accurate.

Hachyderm.io reversed our block once the community reached out to them.. mastodon.technology is shutting down and many of its users moved to us.

As for the last three, look at their block lists, its so long your finger will get a cramp scrolling it, they effectively block almost the entire fediverse.

Luckily we remain int he top 20 servers in terms of reach (people who can hear you when you post)... so shouldnt be a huge problem for you.

@WhatYouMcCallit sure, just link them to qoto.org, they can sign up on the home page. You can also go intto your setttings and generate a invite link if you wish (but witth open registration it is kinda pointless).

Yea, we are **very** strongly pro LGBTQ+ and our moderation policies and practices have always reflectred that.

The irony is that it is explicitly our protectionn of the LGBTQ community that lead to a lot of the misinformation about us spreading in the first place.
