Holy hell the toxicity is on another level.. apparently politely asking someone what law they are talking about is the same as sealioning now... cant even make this idiocy up... two days ive been trying to get information and learn about their concerns and for even bothering to try to understand their concerns (with no opposition of any kind) makes me the bad guy.... do these people not realize that this level of toxicity is putting their communities at risk and not helping?

Ariaflame
@freemo Ah, thank you for your confirmation of my suspicions.

@ariaflame Stop being a toxic asshat, I am sincerely trying to research these issues and learn about it and all your doing is making your side look petty and childish, stop that shit.

I did a search for "law gay illegal florida" and literally cant find a single hit for any law outlawing being gay.... why is it so damn hard to just mention the law so i can research it, and why in the world would asking for the law cause you to react like a ass?

So I've been looking all day and cant find this law where it is illegal to be gay, let alone any punishments or other details.. Can someone help point me to this law, cause clearly doing my own research isnt working.

I used to (before 2 years ago) go there often for SCUBA cave diving (one of the best spots in the world). That said there are clearly some bigoted asshats down there.

@GeePawHill @agilealliance

@GeePawHill

It really is... half the reason i stay away from the english speaking part of the world is because of all this drama going around.

It happens, and the apology means a lot. As I said, the internet is quite a hostile place, these misunderstandings are to be expected. the important part is how we work through them.

@GeePawHill @agilealliance

@GeePawHill

Apology accepted, you are good. Mistakes happen especially in such a toxic environment as the internet. The fact that we worked through it is the important part.

@municipaladhesives

I aleady answered this question if you arent going to rephrase it... so no you dont have to rephrase it, but if you dont its useless in its current form as I already addressed the case of destitute poor people.

@RadicalGraffiti

@ariaflame

I am aware of sealioning. In fact out of fear that someone might mistake what I said for sealioning is why I added the following qualifier to my original reply "Not that I'm disagreeing with you", that way it was quite clear and explicitly stated it was not sealioning.

@GeePawHill @agilealliance

@ariaflame

I do not no.. I have expressed no opinion of anykind, just asked him, if he wanted to, to explain his concerns more... hard to see how that would warrant such a response yea.

@GeePawHill @agilealliance

@GeePawHill

Im still getting up to speed, but it certainly sounds scary at first glance and therefore understandable you might be a bit emotional and defensive as a result.

@ariaflame @agilealliance

@ariaflame

Maybe, but only other person he could be responding to is me... and not sure how he could get what he just said out of anything I said... I dunno

@GeePawHill @agilealliance

@ariaflame

He thought your reply to me was to him...

Pro tip the first name in the list of @'s is the person being responded to.

@ariaflame

Great to hear its all over the australian news. That said the places I have been dont speak english, so my access to news is rather limited.

@GeePawHill @agilealliance

@ariaflame

Thank you, I greatly appreciate the fact that you used my desired pronouns. I appreciate the respect you are trying to show. Apology accepted.
