@torparskytt Perhaps.. I think the issue is you would have no clue how to use one unless someone showed you how. They are easy enough once you learn how (and select the proper one).. but otherwise might just seem complicated and confusing.

Also not all 3-point slings include the detach that allows conversion to 1-point.. without that it looses some of its value.

@oliphant Actually there is access to it... sorta...if one of the parties of the DM reports the DM then the admin will see it int he interface, no DB access needed.

@freemo I do have a 1-point sling but I rarely use it, in my experience the rifle dangles all over the place if you let it hang freely. 2-point slings are pretty versatile (neck only, left shoulder, right shoulder, rifle on the chest, rifle on the back etc) and still easy to use.

@torparskytt Yea I see 1-point sling as really only useful in certain situations, They are nice only when your actively shooting or about to.. If you have to stow it to the side you have to use another bungee to hold it and then its slow to retrieve.

2-point is good enough I'd say, but not nearly as good as a 3-point IMO... 3 point can do everything a 1 and 2 point can do, and more. Release the retaining clip and it becomes a one point, reattach it to stow it.. but your head throught he center loop and now its a 2-point.

Me personally no matter what style you prefer its hard for me to see a reason for anything but a 3-point.. but clearly few people like them and find them a hassle so for some reason im the odd one out.

@realcaseyrollins

Sure, the left is adopting it as a warcry.. it doesnt need to reference LGBTQ for it to work as a message against violence.

Honestly nit picking my way through this isnt really worth my time, they can use whatever songs they want to represent their ideals. Its mostly aesthetics, I care much more about the material matters.

@SharonGibson3 @georgetakei

@realcaseyrollins

I think what is being said here is that many people are so hyperbolic about LGBTQ that they might describe them as holding hands as violent.

Obviously this is meant as a bit of an exaggeration itself, but the general premise is valid.

@SharonGibson3 @georgetakei

@SharonGibson3 Sad to say but with regression in society with regards to LGBTQ of late that is a lot closer to the truth than it used to be a few years ago.

@realcaseyrollins

I distrust anyone with an agenda... I may support them (since every choice has an agenda).. but I never trust anyone who willfully invests the time and effort to gain power over a nation.

@realcaseyrollins Well luckily for me no matter how you word it my answer was "Distrust, other" :)

@realcaseyrollins Ok so as a third-party supporter who distrusts both parties I selected correctly. I did "distrust, other"

@realcaseyrollins but is "Distrust, Democrat" saying "I distrust democrats" or "I distrust the government and am a democrat" ?

@realcaseyrollins im not sure if i follow... what do i select if i distrust the USA government?

I have to say, I am rather surprised virtually everyone (I am the one voter for 3-point) prefers a 2-point sling.

One reason I love a 3-point sling is they can be used as a 2-point or 1-point with only a moments notice.
