lol! :bloblaugh:

Our neighbor just found #Washy on Google Maps in our street :blobcatgiggle: We now have evidence of him crossing the road he should not be on

@AE4WX im writing my own ecosystem .. its all open source. Eventually I'd like it to become a next-gen APRS

I spent an hour with the toddler and infant watching youtube.com/@msrachel. The 6-month old liked this, too. Definitely made me think of @DrFreemo

@Pat You havent heard me mention any names of anyone worth supporting yet have you? lol

@Pat @admitsWrongIfProven

> If you have heard him say racist things in private, then I guess you can make an assessment based on that. I've only been around him once and I don't know him personally, so all I can go by is what he's said and done publicly.

Yea and I understand this will only effect my personal opinion. Which is why in these conversations I mostly stick to what is publicly seen and keep what ive seen in private and cant prove out of the convo. But it is important to point out that im influenced byt hese things personally

> Also, for me deeds carry much more weight than some carefully crafted political apology.

Nah, you need both... **especially** when it is in his best interest to hide his past and hope everyone forgets, which is what most people do. An apology would hurt his chances of be president, thats the ONLY reason its authentic. If it was recent then i would agree, the apology is just expected and wouldnt mean much.. but in this situation the apology would actually be authentic and meaningful, which is why he isnt giving one.

> But as I said, from now on I'm going purely on what gets done while officeholders are in office, not what they say. They haven't even come close to doing half of the stuff I want, so no incumbent will get my vote.

I care about the whole package.. most of what a president does we will never see, so we cant judge him on most of his actions. Which is why its so important I trust them and think they are a decent person. Because their actions are all a parade, the ones we see anyway.

> (Also, Biden helped kill about 800,000 Americans while he was in office during the pandemic, so...)

Thats a bit nuanced.. but I tend to agree that most leaders really didnt handle the pandemic well and Biden is no exception.

@admitsWrongIfProven the environment leading him or anyone to be emotional is perfectly understandable.. and being stressed is too.. but you are still responsible for how you act... and look if he came back later and apologized he would be good withme of course, partly because i consider the environment. But a person still should be judged on how they act.

Claiming "I only got drunk because the environment im in is a frat house, so its ok that i killed someone when driving" doesnt work either... your environment, while may shed some light on actions, doesnt get you out of your actions in my eyes.

@freemo Sounds reasonable, even without knowing him personally. Change without acknowledgement of past misdeeds rings hollow.

@admitsWrongIfProven Thats pretty much my thinking...

Plus, and this is me reading into it a bit (the lack of apology is the real thing for me)... but it seems so feigned and over the top, like it really gives off the vibe of him using/exploiting minorities... for example he gets smug with the "if you dont vote for me you aint black" shit, plus he does it so overtly.. like 100% of everyone he assigns is a minority, showing he clearly and intentionally trying to blanket himselves with 100% minorities for his image (even 70% minority would be huge but at least then it would seem more in good faith).

@admitsWrongIfProven Yea I mean, look there is no doubt they whipped themselves into a frenzy and is in an irrational state of mind.

Thing is you are still accountable for how you act even when your being emotional. If people go to jail for drunk driving (when their reasoning is literally impaired) I see no reason to hold people accountable to their actions in any other state.

Also, he can vote however the hell he wants, I never gave him a hard time for his choices.. but apparently he has an issue with other people not voting for shit heads.

@Pat @mdylanbell Thats not what I see at all. I think think thats exactly the act he wants you to buy and think.. in reality he has moved from being overtly racist, to exploiting minorities for his own gain... ill explain why.

For me to even **consider** he had a change of heart what I need to see is a heart felt sobbing apology for his abysmal attitude throughout most of his life and the racist policies he fought so hard for... Guess what, he has never apologize ONCE, not even a feigned apology, we got shit.

No person alive could have been that person, changed to caring about minorities and not apologize... that alone tells me he never changed, he just changed tactics.

What he did was he realized the world was changing so by exploiting minorities it worked out better for him. So instead of apologizing he just rewrote his image, surrounded himself with every minority he could exploit to help his image and used and abused the community so he could win power...

He never changed, he just cared more about power than anything else, and so he decided to market a different image, thats it.

Keep in mind as I've said before Biden is a personal friend of the family too, so much of my opinion about him and his racism comes from personal interaction.

@freepeoplesfreepress i generally only block if a person wont disengsge when asked. Buts its only a personal block.

@admitsWrongIfProven At this point i probably wouldnt mind just a random lottery for president :)
