@abraxas3d

I just received funding to start an open-source incubator for ham-radio... we should talk.

@OpenResearchIns

Another great day of #opensource #digital #radio R&D.

Thank you to everyone helping @OpenResearchIns do ambitious things.

All that really matters is your latest shot in terms of protection... should be good if you just carry proof of your latest.

Trump had 4 years and failed... Biden had 3 years and failed... nope.. ready for someone new. Hopefully someone a lot less racist than either of these ass hats.

> Even the examples they give for the secondary definition that matches yours are archaic idioms.

When a definition is considered archaic it is explicitly listed as such.. These are modern idiomys, they just have been around a while. But they were also examples, so that doesnt mean much anyway. When a phrase is archaic it is labeled as such, these are clearly not archaic definitions according to the dictionary.

> If someone says "I dropped the check in the mail yesterday.", then no reasonable person would understand that to mean anything other than "the day before today."

Thats because as humans we are remarkably good at discerning the definition in use by context.

Here is a non idiomatic usage of this definition:

"No one would wear yesterday's fashion to the Oscars!"

Not an idiom, clearly not archaic, and used to mean "the recent past" clearly and no one in their right mind would think they ment "the day before today" in this context.

@LouisIngenthron the definition of yesterday as "any times in the past, but particularly recent past" is a modern definition

yestermonth is not a common enough word to be recognized by all dictionaries, so it is debatable.. but there is modern expert usage I was able to find at least as late as 2009 and dictionaries (some) recognize and use this usage as an example:

wordsense.eu/yestermonth/

en.wiktionary.org/wiki/yesterm

definitions.net/definition/yes

@LouisIngenthron

Thats not true...

Yesterday means "any time in the past".. though particularly used for the recent past.

Yestermonth is a word

Yesterweek is a word too

@koyu If its interesting or of any use to you I managed to get a complete activity pub implementation working as a static site generator...

It allows you to follow it (and sends accept request so its true following).. notifies you when new pages/blogs are post.. and, the coolest part, when the article shows in your feed if you comment or like or reshare all of that shows int he comments on the site itself.

Here is a link to an example article I just posted:

flear.org/activitypub-support-

So I managed to add to a static website I just put together. I will be modifying it so I use the same code on my personal blog too.

Basically it supports followers, and when a new page is added (like a news entry, or a new project) then if your following the website it will show as a status in your feed.

Even cooler, if you comment or like the status from here you will see that comment and status on the website. Yes I can block people if they abuse this, as well as servers.

Check it out by following @flear which represents flear.org

Its a very early beta, so the look of the site will still be heavily modified and I will add some more support soon. But this covers all the basics needs.

@n3xls If the antenna fell it would fall onto my foob as it is placed in the middle of the roof. So yea should be fine.

@n3xls Just the picture.. there are no power lines that cross over the top of my roof.
