@khird I only got aas low as 85 in one trial, one of the first ones.. and it was largely cause im still getting used to my keyboards alignment in that case... took a few tries to get my home row down due to the new positioning.

@mike805 I cant speak to how easy it is to actually get them, I do know you need training and a license so it is harder than the USA in that regard. I am only speaking to how common carrying a gun is there, certainly more so than the USA, at least openly.

They aremt drop in interchangable. But if he hasnt actually coded up anything yet, and does not need the power of a SBC, then doing a low-level <CU approach is just as viable as a higher level SBC approach.

@mike805 Israelis are better armed than most americans in my expiernce. At the company
I run we had to have 3 safes installed in various offices so people could bring their guns to work. It was odd seeing so many guns on the street and in work. It is common to see teens walk down the street with a fully automatic gun on their shoulder.

@khird As expected when I transcribe using their tool im seeing lower numbers but I blame the test, as it doesnt allow you to do your corrections at the end, and in fact if you continue past an error with the intent of coming back to fix it at the end it just counts all future keystrokes as bad... so im going to count that as an invalid test myself, but you are right it severely decreases my Wpm (anything from 85wpm to 127 wpm depending on the test)

just to be clear when I test myself I do count the time it takes to make corrections, and in addition corrections penalize the WPM by the standard amount in official tests. But it allows me to correct test when and how is best for me, so it allows me to maximize my typing speed by leaving all corrections to the end and not loose focus.

That would depend on which left we are talking about. In the USA, yea they are sadly largely a characteture of themselves. To a lesser extent this is true of most english speaking nations. But most of the left in non-english countries tend to be more accepting of nuance and discussion and I wouldnt be so quick to describe the left in the rest of the world in such ways.

That said even in america there are a select few on the left who dont fit that description. But its still a very large overwhelming majority

Agreed, but it is possible to extrapolate from what the overwhelming majoirity of a group says and compare that to the behavior of individuals. Which is mostly what I did there.

As someone who is on the left myself, no, it doesnt make me feel good that the side I prefer behaves this way, much the opposite.

But yea ill be happy to, i never got lower than 140 on a test I took before (as a child i was at world record levels for the time).

Just a reminder, palestinian civilians are not allowed to own guns, this is restricted in the Oslo accords.. So **any** argument about the Palestinians allowing the hamas is invalid.

In that sense one can say that the existance of Hamas is entierly on the shoulders of israel (the ones who enforces the oslo accords)

Hardly limited to being weak and stateless. The ISraelis have continued to commit war crimes and terrorism repeatidly. They have even been accused as such by multiple agencies and called to court to be held accountable to those war crimes (such as using small children as shields and intentionally punishing civilians in war).. They just refuse to go to court and be tried..

Both sides are terrorists, right now, actively.
