Keep in mind as an admin of an instance im also tsrgeted more than most.

@admitsWrongIfProven No its not limited to action, but that too. Beleive itnor not a few years back id have been far more left leaning. But recent years of constant toxicity over any hint of independent thought combined with seen extreme violence first hand from largelynleft groups has notocable moved me towards a more antagonistic position towards the left.

When a group constantly abuses you for nuanced thought, even if it just words, it certainly causes an emotional negative response. Even as i fight against that tendency it is noticable and builds up and takes increasing effort to offset.

But grouos influencing me through favorable action is the least of my concerns.. honestly the bigger issue is people influencing me through negative action. Its one thing that has noticable driven me farther right than even id like.

@admitsWrongIfProven caring about money is fine. What matters is what you do with it and how you getnit. As long as both of those are ethically aligned i have no objection.

@admitsWrongIfProven money is just an iou on time and effort. I can work to get money and give it to someone or just do the work direct for them. Its all liquid.

Any evil around the gaining of the money sits on its own. And while donating it wont negate that it also doesnt diminish the value of the donation

Its both. Free masons do donate a lot of their money to help, but it goes habd in hand with donating the time. Usually freemasons organize charity events. They fund them, encourage others to join, but also donate their time to execute the events as well as the charity they entail.

The specific sort of charity seems defined by the appe dant group you join. Shriners for example are all about hospitals and the disabled.

@admitsWrongIfProven more importantly to your point. While you may be able to criticize how they earned it, and right or wrong, the act of donating is ja good act of equal goodness regardless. Doing somethi g bad to get it is worth taking issue but doesnt diminish the giving.

Most of the value is produced by man hoirs. You are encouraged to donate to the poor of course, but a lot of the focus is getting together and investing time in charitable works.
