Age doesnt matter to me when voting. However stupidity does, and thus rules out Trump, and senility also matters to me, and thus rules out Biden. The only thing left is to figure out who of the people left I can vote for....

Yes I have... Masks for me are just not an option most of the time. As a COVID scientist I did need to wear one in the lab (and i was of course not objecting), but it severely limited my lab time due to discomfort. Naturally as a result I never wore one outside the lab.

As a result if there was a particularly high risk area (like a nursing home) I'd just avoid the space rather than wear a mask.

Yes people have been violently aggressive about my no-mask stance even when I specifically made it a point to avoid high risk settings and generally avoided places a mask was required like any store that had a sign.

As an expert in this field I can say that is an inaccurate classification. As with most things it lacks the nuance that is vital. AI can and is smarter, better, and faster than humans **at certain tasks**, at other tasks it is much worse. Which tasks those are change year by year as well.

This and many concerns are valid. There are tons of ethical concerns in the here and now and those concerns dont look much like the skynet fears you hear people talking about. Accidentally picking up human biases, prejudice, or ineffiency is a very legitimate problem. That said the problem is oddly enough the most human problem in AI. AI essentially has the same problem as humans in that they need to be "raised" (taught) by humans and in that process faults from the teacher are often passed to the student.

@lilithsaintcrow Wouldnt tax payer money need to fund **all** of their development AND their manufacture in order to justify companies being in the wrong for charging? I dont see why companies that paid some discounted rate to develop it and all the cost to produce it shhould be required to take a loss and sell it, that doesnt add up.

Just to be clear, he was report spamming accounts that clearly did not break any rules but either because someone blocked him or because they posted an opinion he disagreed with.

He was politely warned three times to stop and refused to even answer those requests and continued. Then when we brought it up for **discussion** among mods and asked him if he wanted to speak to it before we decided if action needed to be taken at all he rudely responded and made no attempt to say anything else. After months of warnings and a final chance to discuss it he was suspended.

And yes, we get **tons** of reports against him for attacking liberals and conservatives alike and had taken a lot of heat as a server protecting his right to have an opinion.

But then he will get his own server blocked. He was already getting his account blocked server wide just having an account here.

No he would rather use a large server as human shields to protect him from getting hurt.. He was shocked to hear they could just block him.

His problem is he is a non-tolerant leftist (not alt-left but solid full swing left). That in and of itself isnt an issue if it werent for the non-tolerant part. Anyone who is slightly more left than him or slightly more right than him he has a fit, tells them off and tells them he is blocking them. Often random people he had no interaction with... given how narrow his acceptable views are this tends to be several people a day... Not surprisingly this just pisses a ton of people off getting random hate messages from random people they never even engaged with.

As I said its not strictly against the rules so I never banned him for that... But its unlikely any server that actually fits the sort of environment he might accept would also be willing to accept him. QOTO is one of very few servers he stood any chance on and he kinda ruined that for himself.
