@kmic I mean, she had the cleavage cranked up to 11... saw that coming a mile away :)
@jaysonmassey Thanks for the share.
In that case I will call it a Crime Reduction Rifle.
@kmic The new one from picard?
> well I think it's worth saying that different people aren't excited about voting for him for different reasons, and for a lot of us that reason comes down to his poor performance in office.
Obviously yes. I wasnt saying all people werent voting for him due to his senility. I am saying virtually no one is saying they wont vote for him because he is old, the people who they are claiming would say that are actually saying they wont vote for him because he is senile, its just people twist their words because saying the truth might actually put what they are saying into question, cant have that with yoru rhetoric.
@freemo well I think it's worth saying that different people aren't excited about voting for him for different reasons, and for a lot of us that reason comes down to his poor performance in office.
I really don't care if the guy is senile or not, if he does a good job. But Biden has not.
He has really screwed up in just about every aspect of the role of president.
If his presidency meant that his handlers had taken charge and appointed capable people to do the work in the face of his senility, great! I'd keep him on no matter how his mental state is.
But that didn't happen.
> Inflation is down
No its not. The USD has inflated a total of 12% under biden by current numbers, it is not down.
What you probably mean is the inflation rate, but that too isnt "down" it is "up".. since Biden took office the inflation rate is 266% of what it was when he took office (it has more than doubled). That is as of the begining of november end of october.
> #Bidenonmics is successful so Republicans lie, fearmonger, & spread #NaziLike disinformation about immigrants
I am not a republican, in fact of the two parties I have only ever voted for democrats.. But no, the economy under biden is far from successful, he has poor numbers in almost every metric (20% increase in unemployment under him too for example). That said I am not praising Trump by any means either, but no Biden is far from an economic success story.
> FAIR’s numbers have been repeatedly debunked. One thing they do—which you can see them do in this graphic—is count all the future costs of educating US citizen children born in the country… but then refuse to consider the taxes & benefits those kids produce after they turn 18.
Agreed entiuerly. FAIR in this infographic is trying to manipulate the numbers intentionally to support their agenda. It is clear they are not trying to give fair objective numbers as a priority. Also the idea that illegal immigration is a financial burden in general is just nonsense.
"Tsosie was one of thousands of Navajos who took jobs in the mines, starting in the 1940s. They worked without masks or ventilation to disperse the lethal radon gas, and they were never told the rocks they were handling – leetso in the Diné language, or yellow dirt – were deadly." https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/nov/20/navajo-dine-uraminum-mining-poison
I mean not to diminish the level of idiocy this guy has... but.... changing your dumbass theory with a new dumbass theory when your old one is debunked to try to line up with the facts a little closer... isnt that a good thing, like should be be encouraging him changing his crazy conspiracy theories as facts that debunk it are shown? If we can encourage this behavior enough maybe he will eventually refine his theories to the point they arent even idiotic anymore (ok probably not, but its still a step in the right direction, lol)
@icedquinn Because they know what they want is a violation of rights and fairness. They dont mind it on guns because they dont mind "cheating" when its something they are against... but when its not something they are against, like their own politicians, then it is an unthinkable infringement.
It is certainly possible. It is really the only reason im glad we have some extremists on the right in SCOTUS like clarence... he may be a complete dipshit, but he may at least help invalidate any anti-2A attempts for the next few years till people come to their senses.
@LouisIngenthron Oh I agree entierly.. its a weak excuse. Just the only one I can fathom one would argue at all.
I m,ean its clearly syntatical and not functional in nature cause we are basically just treating [] like a function. We are entierly int he land of syntatic sugar, so any explanation is going to be one that is purely hand waving.
@icedquinn No one is asking for background checks for guns, we already have that so its not a ask... what they want is a violation of medical history to occur in **addition** to ones criminal background check.. they just wont say what they actually want because they know how weak an ask like that sounds when it comes to privacy rights.
@LouisIngenthron I guess the only reason that makes sense is that the format for doing it... like "this" makes no sense in the static context.... but why the word "this" is needed at all seems syntatic itself so seems the only reasoning is "this unusual syntax we choose is confusing in that scenario and we dont want to change the pattern"
Ahh so its a syntax limitation. You would effectively like a shorter syntax that would otherwise be functionally the same as a longer one.
Interesting. Yea I cant think of a good reason a language would prevent that.
What exactly are you looking for when you say "static indexing", do you mean syntatically Foo["Bar"] but dont care if in terms of implementation it is effectively the same thing... or do you mean an immutable index defined at compile time? If so how is that useful in any way as opposed to just an immutable index that is created at run time? I assume your trying to address a performance concern with generating the index whent he program first spins up?
I love how democrats are pretending people arent voting for Biden due to his age... no no no, its due to his **senility** not his age. Its that his mental decline is obvious and concerning, not his age at all...
inb4 Trump isnt senile, but he is a moron. Plenty of reasons not to support Trump either, none of which are senility however.
