@admitsWrongIfProven Actually yes... resources may be finite but wealth is not... Some people having more wealth does **not** mean others have to have less as a result. Wealth is largely generated. One person having more doesnt imply someone else has to have less, thats not how wealth works.

@TruthSandwich The fediverse isnt filled with any better people than any other platform... Its designed better, and protects us to some extent from evil admins controlling everything. But beyond that people will still be the shitty people they are.

@TruthSandwich Hahah I wish.. but I can get any attorny I want and they will pay full civil and criminal costs for the lawyer. They also cover bond, provide expert witnesses, if the cops take your gun they will immediately buy you a new one to replace it while in evidence, even pay you 750$ for every day you have to go to court.... its pretty sweet.

Just got two conceal carry insurances: USCAA and Right to Bear... I figure this way if one insurance has some loophole and wont cover me I have a backup.

@pieist Huh, we are a fork of mastadon and our version has no relationship to Mastodon versions... what do you mean? We do have several features we are working on importing though (and many mastodon doesnt have).

I think we agree that effectively it has the same effect as eugenics, but im not sure it is the same as eugenics, no more so than not having sex with an unattractive person is eugenics.

If you are aborting due to Downs Syndrom and your argument is "I dont want my child to live a life suffering" it isnt eugenics. However if you abord because "I dont want my child to pass on their genes and create more people with Downs Syndrome" then that would be eugenics. We make choices all the time that isnt due to eugenics but effectively selects our gene pool anyway.
