#DailyBloggingChallenge (18/25)
This is where you can find the #RSS for an account on #mastodon (and probably the #fediverse):
```
https://<instance>/@<username>.rss
```
For my account it would be `https://qoto.org/@barefootstache.rss`
And for hashtags it's
```
https://<instance>/tags/<hashtag>.rss
```
For the #DailyBloggingChallenge it's `https://qoto.org/tags/DailyBloggingChallenge.rss`
One thing to keep in mind for choosing an `<instance>` for the hashtags, one should choose one that does not shadow ban keywords. In general, qoto.org is a good choice.
#Fdroid has a wide selection of apps to use as an RSS reader: https://search.f-droid.org/?q=rss+&lang=en
My preference is #Feeder (https://gitlab.com/spacecowboy/Feeder). Similar apps exist for various operating systems and as browser extensions.
@mzan I cant think of why i would need that for security really...
@robryk I'd have to see it in action to really get an opinion of that.
@freemo Eiffel language manages immutable types in a rather good way. They are called "expanded" in the Eiffel jargon, but you can think to them as "value" instead of "references/entities". So, you have no references to them, but only explicit values. The classic example is an INTEGER NUMBER, or a BOOLEAN or a POINT. You cannot change 5 in 10. 5 is a value.
@mzan Thats common for most languages actually where primitive are immutable and passed by value and all other types are passed by reference. This is true for Ruby and Java for example.
Different languages define primitives differently for example in Java strings are immutable but passed by reference so effectively the same as passed by value for these purposes. In ruby however strings are mutable.
@mzan haha
@VoxDei True, depending on the context lovely eyes might make someone uncomfortable too. Like I wouldnt say it to a colleague at work, and probably not to a complete stranger i didnt at least talk to first.
@Moon Well lets face it, it could be someone pretending to be him. What the fuck do I know.
But his interactions feel real... I feel like if he used a team he would be more chatty. But he responds like I'd expect a famous person to respond... as if they are short on time but dont want to be rude.
@Moon I mean he has actively responded and had conversations with people, including me... It appears to be him speaking.
I wouldnt be surprised if a media team suggested jokes to him which he may have picked and shared here. But I still suspect it is mostly him doing the posting and interacting.
@Moon I suspect it isnt his media team. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure he handles his own account.
He also doesnt just cross post, he actively responds to and interacts with people around mastodon.

I have already addressed this several times.
I am going to politely disengage at this point. I have had to repeat myself far too many times and its a good indiciation that a conversation doesnt have much left in it.
That said, thank you for the polite discourse, I enjoyed it.
@georgetakei This is true... then again neither have Biden or the DNC sadly.
Again no they arent. When you form a firm you are significantly restricted in your ability to "collude".. so much so you are isolated from the internal workings of your own company.
Sort of.. you pay a penalty to "combine" your capital... youve created a cooperation, so now your double taxed. You also are restricted in your pervasiveness. As described earlier if the corperation has control over a whole niche it will be found illegal and broken up. Also as an individual you dont currently have to compete with companies, you can work with them, as a company you must compete. So i can be on the registry of multiple staffing firms as an individual... as a company im limited and must actually compete with other staffing firms.
So yea you are allowed to combine resources if your willing to take the penalties that come with it.
@HeavenlyPossum @JonKramer @trinsec
Much like if two people worked for the same staffing firm and set prices, it would be fine.
@HeavenlyPossum @JonKramer @trinsec
I would call that price-fixing and it is highly illegal.
