Well this video of black conservatives debating white liberals was very interesting and inciteful.

It really was more revealing to me of white liberals than black conservatives (who are more the exeception of the two)... Seeing white liberals getting offended at blacks for not being offended rather than **listening** spoke volumes.. You would think this would be the one scenario they would know not to preach and being a learning moment for them in some way... but no.

That isnt to say i side with the black conservative view, not at all, I thought a lot of it was wrong.. But I do want to understand the view and listen to it...

Then make the argument "The motivation of these 5 people was shit"... and I would whole heartidly agree with you. You would be fine to argue that their motivations are worthy of contempt for those 5 people.

To blame them for the shutdown, however, is a poor argument, and a different one than the one your making now.

Doesnt change the fact that any 5 people could have voted for the bill an we wouldnt be at a stand still... So why blame the only 5 republicans who didnt vote for it, and caused a deadlock, and not the 210+ democrats? Seems to me the democrats wanted this deadlock MORE than the republicans, but a pretty large margin.

@randahl Oh wow they finally implemented a feature that QOTO has had for years, in the same way QOTO implemented it, and when we did it everyone got mad and blocked us... Now everyone has the feature.. oh the irony.

@TruthSandwich I am willing to bet the OP's post is factually driven in the sense that I am willing to bet if you look at the raw data of the people who test positive for COVID there are 3x more democrats.

That said the interpretation is likely wildly wrong, as is the post itself and its conclusion. What is likely happening is the republicans think COVID is either a hoax or not serious so none of them are bothering to get tested. They probably catch it just as often, probably more, but just get tested less.
