@admin Thats fine then. Though its an easy enough fix and generally good practice. So may be worth considering. Other than that no issues come to mind.

@admin hahah yea, i dunno i cant see how this would handle multiple connections simultaniously... As far as I can tell it should only be able to accept the next connection after the first one completes.

@admin The main issue I see is contention. When a client connects it will block the server and other clients from interacting until the client disconnects.

There is a fork in the road. A choice of paths, one labeled "difficult", one labeled "catastrophic."

What do you think I'm talking about... (Please boost)

@ErikUden

considering the direct benefits colliders have had up until now (even for the general public as we buy products produced at colliders all the time). Some metal hydrides we use for example come from colliders.

@admitsWrongIfProven the server is only blocked personally not at the server level.

They have just wasted too much of my time with harassment.

@freemo @olives also thankfully, one does not have to vote for the election winner for their vote to be meaningful or effective. Unfortunately, this is apoarently too difficult to understand for vast numbers of voters.

@Clementulus I never claimed instincts are moral.. I said we have an awareness of happiness and suffering specifically.

@Clementulus

> who decided what "objective good and evil" are and why should we listen to them? What is the source of their authority?

Nature did, their source of authority is by creating us and instilling happiness and suffering as our fundamental motivators.

@realcaseyrollins it would be interesting to compare that same poll but as multiple choice.

@freemo You're in for a treat!

A series of someone thinking "What could someone with IT knowledge do" and no moral inhibitions. Enjoy!

@admitsWrongIfProven Well I got to pick the keys and I went through a lot of samples. So it should be no surprise its perfect for what I want. That doesnt mean I'd recommend it or you. My top priority was being as loud as possible and my second was the highest weight. So I wound up with objectively that (after a lot of research). IIts the Box Navy by Kahle if you want a loud one with a lighter touch then you want the box jade

@admitsWrongIfProven Works better than any other keyboard... largely because its made to be super customizable. It also has a ton of interconnects, so all the raspberry pis can talk to eachother. The firmware has a ton of features. It even can fake clicky sounds when you type, lol.

@futurebird thought this was a top level post for a while... I thought to myself "Why is this normally well spoken woman talking so strangely?" Now I've read the context, sounds normal, but lol that was a weird moment for my brain.
