For what its worth my keyboard has two pi-based chips on it and they run cool to the touch. It is a rp2040 based pi. I dont actually know the details of the chip only that it has a raspberry pi symbol on it.

These chips (I can link you on amazon) might be a decent replacement (you need to check im just speculating herE).

inb4: Just because both the left and the right might support an idea in some part of the world it is still a left or right leaning ideal... @darth Perhaps... remember processors with higher max speeds will operate cooler at the same speed as a processor with lower max.

IF you need a cool running processor you will get that the most by picking an overpowered processor.

@darth You may need a more power cpu then if there is some minimum speed it must operate at.

@darth Its in the official docs for the pi. So it should be supported. Might want to file a bug and see what the devs say?

@darth Why are you setting temp_soft_limit instead of temp_limit?

Not sure what the soft varient does but the name suggests it isnt a hard limit and thus can and will be ignored.

What did you set it to exactly? For Pi zero youd set temp_limit:

@darth Thats easy, you just have to throttle down the CPU to a much lower speed.

You may also be able to just lower the max temp and then it will auto-throttle the cpu down:

@cyberspice right the USA's left is far close to the center than most other lefts on most issues (not all) and our right is farther away from center.

@realcaseyrollins Dont have to dig.. its to point out something important. Your concerns about the palestinian numbers, while valid, is an issue in both directions.

Throughout this war both sides have repeatidly lied to make the other side seem worse or their side seem better. So we need to be skeptical of all second-hand sources here, far more than usual. We need to rely largely on first-hand sources that do not represent either side.. the UN to nsome extent does that, but things like amnesty international and other humanitarian services who are directly on the ground themselves are far better sources IMO even than the USA (who does not have anyone on the ground that we know of)

@realcaseyrollins no the usa repeated what israel told them... they didnt confirm it (look for themselves)... if they did they never said so...

I want anyone other than israel or hamas to say they saw it first hand, no one has done that, but several people have claimed the opposite (that it doesnt exist)

When I search for "confirmation hamas blocking gaza" all the results I get within the last 10 days either say there is no blockade (thehill and reuters)... the pages that claim there is a blockaid either dont name a source or name ISrael as the source... One article in the first page even claims Israel is the one who enacted a humanitarian blockade on gaza (apnews amnesty internation).
