On the one hand seeing Trump in jail would please me greatly. On the other I'm left asking how a judge has the right to restrain free speech at all. saying someone should "rot in hell" outside of court and having that land you in jail seems like a huge violation.

Reality doesnt care about my comfort, and no I wouldnt "still be the worst" just with company. One of the worst doesnt imply you are equally as worst as the worst. Stop trying to twist everyones word you disagree with to be right, it doesnt help your case. Least of all with people like me who actually lean left and vote left (usually). But with the way the left has been acting this year im already forced to go third party thanks to the left acting like they are in this thread. I simply cant support this level of toxicity and childishness.

Saying someone is the worst means no one else can be worse. Saying someone is one of the worst implies there are worse but he is among the top percentile... huge difference. In one case arguing "so what about x isnt he worse" is valid, but with "one of" such statements arent valid.

This they had to manipulate what i said for their own response to make sense. Yea it makes a huge difference.

While global warming is of course real this year is also an el nino year. So having extremely unusually high temperature is to be expected. Hard to say how much of a factor global warming is on top of that, im sure its a factor too.

But just to note, mr researcher, my resume is literally in my fediverse vio, and it has my resume. On my resume it explicitly states my COVID-19 research, where it was done, and the results. The company I list in my resume publishes the actual peer reviewed journal articles on their site last I checked and still lists me prominently despite me having quit to start my own research company.

But hey a big smart academic researcher like you I'm sure already knew that and was just playing stupid right?

No no the numbers I didnt give were peak. According to the CDC the **annual** flu numbers tend to range from ~30K to 50K a year, these arent peak. We have some outlier years that were not the norm due to singifnicant temporary world events (like economic lock down), but during "normal" years those numbers are typical, **not** peak.

So while im happy to agree to disagree we seem to disagree onfundemental facts not interpritation.

Also, never feel obligated to respond, just as I should never feel obligated not to give my response.

No one said its only them. The others just dont need help, so they **can** be lazy (since they did enough work to not need help and now can be lazy)... in some cases its just luck too, which again is find since they dont need help so they can be lazy.

Its not that poor people are the only ones lazy, its just that the poor people who are lazy is a problem when you want to get people out of needing help.

Thats a lot of words for saying "its a typo you make often".. typos are specific type of misspelling where the person known the correct spelling but either commonly mistypes the same way, or simply doesnt care in casual conversation to make the extra key presses on their phone.

I do **not** care about my spelling or grammar when I make replies online so long as I can be understood. Why you think anyone will care about the nature of my typos or what it may reflect is beyond me. But as is clear, no one gives a shit about some typos. Nice try though.

Why isnt putting it into perspective relevant? Simply put per year:

Flu: ~30K - 50K, or ~600/week to 1K/week.

Covid, we dont have long term trends post lock-down. But since july its ~600/week to 1.2K per week.

Pnumonia is ~50K per year.

I think its very relevant to point out COVID is about as deadly as most non-trivial respertory diseases. Which is to say it **is** deadly but you shouldnt be loosing any more sleep over it than you did 10 years ago.
