Woe to him who amasses what is not his and makes himself rich with many loans!

How long will this go on?’

Will not your creditors suddenly arise and those who disturb you awaken?

Then you will become their prey.

Work is when someone tells me to make him stuff, and if i do it they give me little IOU's that I am then allowed to use to buy back a portion of the things I just made for him. Those IOUs are even interchangable with other workers from other companies who get the same deal.

Laira: I mourned my husband for a hundred days. I never left my house, I never spoke to anyone.

O'Neail: After that?

Laira: I left my house, and I spoke to people.

@freemo I must admit... i did see this before, and the thought is not my own. But i think it is worthy of being carried on.
Whenever there is stupid tech made to the specification of someone that sees themselves as a "boss", think what it means to blind, deaf or otherwise disadvantaged people.

We might have some time until it hits us, but this decline is happening, and it will hit.

@freemo Always upvote stargate...
"The US is not in the business of interfering..."
"Since when, sir?"

I have an idea... lets make all health insurance free but also make sure every hospital has one of these elevators installed... That way only the smart people, which by USA standards are the only ones worth saving, can actually get to the doctors office.

Carter: I thought the Nox were passivists?

Lya: I only hid the weapon, I did not fire it.

Carter: Ah, pretty fine line you didnt cross.

Lya: Yes, it is.

A few weeks ago I put some pure Sodium Chloride in a beaker with de-ionised water to dissolve, then pured in to a small glass bowl and lkeft it to evaporate.

All the water has now gone, so I examined the resulting crystals under my USB Microscope.

I think they turned out OK, well some did.

@freemo I do have a 1-point sling but I rarely use it, in my experience the rifle dangles all over the place if you let it hang freely. 2-point slings are pretty versatile (neck only, left shoulder, right shoulder, rifle on the chest, rifle on the back etc) and still easy to use.

I have to say, I am rather surprised virtually everyone (I am the one voter for 3-point) prefers a 2-point sling.

One reason I love a 3-point sling is they can be used as a 2-point or 1-point with only a moments notice.

What is your favorite style of rifle sling for an AR-15?

@freemo well, now you can hang all sorts of things off your barrel without needing a rail :)

@freemo @drewfer Careful you don't end up like this guy:

Most ham radio software is abysmally written in almost every way. It is also rarely open-source so no one wants to help fix it.
