I see these kind of balances as the checkmate or bad decision making when it's doing things based on energy and structure from other people that your country politically is / was at war with or you hate or are against politically!!!... should be a big signal not to do business and REDUCE THAT SHIT!
But then even at times like these that country and those countries still kinda still partner up with the enemy lol... shake hands, photo, nice day.
Decision-making so gone wrong...

So I would suggest these things below even though the above seems reasonable and simple enough for anyone to work it out if they didn't already get the message "we're not friends A$$HOL£... and I'ma get you later!! " Ah that's nice ^_^
People play so well.
So if people didn't get the feeling and message from those they didn't like previously then now I suggest...
1- something towards reducing leverage of other people or other lands and resources from past old enemy's because it turns out to be a future liability and bad for decision making as a 'cheap' benefit today (i.e. cutting off from RussiaXYZ_EU becomes a non option when you leaned hard on it so much)
AND
2- to moderate population / not expand yoru own empire if it becomes your resource hole for food etc and just a time delay for real for progress (i.e. feeding more than solving self-sustaining local ways or using locals more than imports because of financial reason)
Overall
- leveraging others of committing to deal or just not getting along starts to self-leverage when you're connected so strongly based on your own survival of your enemy!
- External resources is overrated as it's a future problems... but needs more courage and brains I guess
Anyway we will be in the original mess once it cascades back like a regressing waterfall, going back to potatoes when there is war or when finally others cut from us and we can't get it from other lands!)
Doesn't sound bad if it solves original sins of using bad ways and bad people. This isn't reference to this war, but in everything !!
