People who expect answers instead of "working on the problem myself" AS THE SOLUTION ITSELF... but on the other side WE EXCLUDE AVERAGE USERS SOMEWHAT AND THEN PERPETUATE OUR TROUBLES ALSO...
So people's limited understanding for me is testing when people expect outright answers instead of realising "working on the problem" IS THE SOLUTION ITSELF.
Especially around the problems of communicating things and improving relationships (in anything and measurably everything) there is no 1 shot kill (or sometimes it is but for example it puts into question further people's level of existing luxury or expectation do too tick 100 checkboxes in requirements when the whole reason something became bad was BECAUSE of what they used as a vector or split in our principles / understanding / etc)
The mentality or problem perspective I have with others is that they are so strongly not seeing their participation as the solution or thinking they can get away with not doing their own investigation that they too are actually part of the problem (or more politely "they are part of the equation in all of us finding a solution or better understanding") because it's a self-perpetuating loop somewhat to wait or expect others to do things. Waiting on others instead of working on it yourself IS THE PROBLEM.... especially if you can't stop doing what you don't understand but enjoy it too much to put down.
I guess users are the weak link in some respect.. and they take responsibility as well as those people who make it TOO EASY to use or WITHOUT EDUCATION.
In people's defence techie's (or better word) also put coding out of average persons reach simply by trade so it's true they can't do much SO we all need a way to on-board average folk somehow into the cycle or into stream ELSE WE EXCLUDE AVERAGE PEOPLE SOMEWHAT
AND THEN PERPETUATE OUR TROUBLES...
I don't have the answer BUT the above seems true that they or us need to all know what they are doing on some level... yes we could re-flash all devices and sell people better phones and laptops but also it helps for them to seek us out.
The naturally high-level skills do seems to exclude people but the idea is perhaps that it COULD BE HIGH ENOUGH 1 DAY to be simple and customisable eough for even those users - so techies do the hard work to make it FULL CIRCLE in simplicity and give control back to people SIMILAR TO HOW 1-CLICK INSTALLATION on servers work.
A MAIN PROBLEM IN COMMUNICATION
Instead of listening to one's component problems and accepting it's heavy or difficult etc, they end up saying "what are the solutions" and "if there is no alternative" then it's like case closed! That for me gives up the power of incrementing something or some other way... or closes the door based on a kind of ultimatum or too much of a extreme pendulum of "doing" this or that so progressing themselves in smaller constants seems better ( people making time for all these things is perhaps our challenge and what other teams are attacking to pass laws and tricks quickly in a short space of time).
It's expecting a lot to wait for things to become answered in 1 big answer and it's not the way things become big, it starts from small!
But yes it's also a reflection of the daily life templated to keep people busy and not at a neutral level or state of mind to even find these things to fix / read up on / debate.
Ideally not waiting until it's a mass accepted because it doesn't work that way and done in lots of small effort while others do the same and we use each others solutions.
First small steps then big!
Not once side has all the answers perhaps or there needs to be balance.
People are part of the problem
because they seem to be waiting or expecting others to fix things... their imagination in helping (technical or not) is also limited (not just their skills) and almost a kind of stagnation / sheep onlooking.
(though I appreciate the technical jump has also excluded them and Techies no longer talk to them much or need to talk to them) I think all these things can be address to adjust levels all round.
SUMMARY - Truth on both sides but I'm weighing things heavier on the lack of exploration asking questions or waiting for the next thing to complain about it instead of coming out punching things.
I'll re-edit this again but there are some main points here that are really big in realising and wording it even after all these years.
