Staying silent avoids gossip or excessive debate, but it's scary how not talking or minimising people can be... and I think that stifles life and children being aware and progressing (not the materialistic progressing)...
There are many cultures that they will not discuss their weakness... and while that actually go, it needs to be more chosen as when it's never said that you're ill or what your principles are (which avoids debate and focus and keeps power) and children didn't know for years... that is terrible.
I can say people can have 'over-feelings' or feel things are too negative but scary is people have this kind of pride or false misconception of what is good that actually doesn't move into the now and tries to keep what was back then bad (authoritarian patriarchy which I can even enjoy as a good management skill or something and let people run it) but to not have development or silent iron fist stuff amongst parents (and mum not saying anything) seems FAAAKTUP.
