'other services' caught my eye...
I'm talking to someone about this with questions like
- what can be more of a nice job given to ourselves with others in mind?
So while the natural cycle of 'FREE' software IMHO naturally means lessening the burdens of money or the focus is not money itself but educational healthy stuff... then this means again naturally a perpetuating loop of reducing over money consumptions perhaps (it's not looking to make waste or force people in the traditional paradigm AND / OR cause ignorances / pull wool over people's eyes AND it's educating along the way...
So it might be natural for all of us to find ourselves broke but honest !) and that is why it interested me as the free software vs money is a direct opposite in some ways or different ground it's working from
SO I WONDER WHAT OTHER SERVICES?

@freeschool

For example WordPress is free and open source and anyone could use it to make their own website. Though things like server or domain name are not free and that is where they can make some money. Services like SSL many don't know how to implement on their site or giving the user complete freedom over the server.

If I'm not wrong mattermost is free to use up to a certain user amount. After that there is some kind of fee.

Other typical services are things that the user wants, but doesn't want to do themselves like WordPress themes. If you know CSS and HTML, you could easily grab most themes out there, but you first need to know how to do it.

A model which lots of apps use is to limit the amount of features that are free and put fee on the premium features. Though the code is free and open source and available on git to build yourself and/or on F-droid.

So many people and soooo much potential and people/coders/business has to find a way to limit / disable their code or make things a 'premium' in order just to get some leverage (this was common for Wordpress plugins which excited and in the spirit gave their plugin and then over time you saw complains in each version as features were disable or just enough to get someone to install... ALL in order for someone to make a purchase and using money rather than giving up what people have and finding a less conditional and backward-logic way to do things!!!!!... (same as many things perhaps when do not do it for free even if they had it free themselves or inherited it). We still haven found a way

The bad logic of 'money' in the middle of everything aksi means we are bottle-necking each other...

Also to support things overall I wouldn't be ableto even donate to all of these things .. so money just is what I blame a bit mostly....
