In a way "The American Dream" *is itself* the capture of people and making money itself from them!
So people going for "The American Dream" are going for the exploitation quite like going to a casino and thinking you can beat probability and odds set out in a Matrix that is constantly unbeatable or even sustainable because of the risk deliberately against you. (Hardly co-op of dream more than profit wars where gov (like the house) get the tax / profits / winnings from everyone paying / losing )
And so I too like this picture of text - simply is not fair in a mechanical matrix and limited jobs aimed at getting mechanised more than human populating / keeping human meanings in jobs,
And as 72c says poor kids can also think there is no way but do the same by setting up a mini game of the larger game (like a pyramid) but in my reality we have to zoom out while we do any of this and Neo out of thinking in the matrix only and realise ok it's about people, people, people, people,.... not machines so much - people have the feelings and core, people can learn and hold the spirit of things much more as the better double-check, and in a strange way we have to make our own games (like the pyramids) but to give each other chance to give, chance to take from us to spin things (like money does but with good-will or morality in the middle so we can give / take without man-in-middle attacks as the default during transactions... do it almost manually, talk about all again... and simply make our own game (matrix of love or do it yourself or principles + philanthropy + other things on top + living more together instead of renting apart... whatever you can... everything if possible...). Cut them out of their own business and don't give consent while sharing and accepting people in as best as possible / real life testing...
There are lots of comfortable people who could allow 1 like-minded person in and grow them like a plant as well as have some hands on deck as pure labour... mix the old and new (gaps are too far apart now and we don't understand what it's like).
We have to imagine more than what we see basically... Happy to talk about it in audio chat right now or in future... it's interesting...
