Another day, another Firefox update. What does it do? Nothing important, mostly fixes the past update, but the browser will stop working until you install it.

Version numbers skip so fast I think it's also making software look obsolete - when it's not much improvement or not a major release - kind of like numbers are easy to scam people.... hmm wait a minute...

It's a good way to fake "progress" when everything still barely works reliably.
@amerika And on the half topic of progress and things barely working or becoming very expensive... what to do when they clean you out of money with everything going up (you as in you personal or you general, your choice).

(not looking for much advice but I feel like encroachment is going to get everyone and basically will involve people taking what they don't have or taking loans/selling all they have (a short term solution)... so after even simple then what is what I'm thinking
The main thing will become to escape political entities at the local level that are already corrupted.
Outside America? There might be farmer and trucker protests but at what point do they realize they have to level up if you know what I mean and that the leaders are just going to wait for them to burn out or get party vanned? Did you notice how Japan had a guy Minecraft a politician in a gun free zone while America has the most guns per person and yet has fewer assassination attempts even? Curious.
On the other hand American police forces are usually equipped to defend against third world level threats in a first world country, or at least put up a theater as such. Or hospitals are trained to treat gunshot wounds because that's just another day in the hood. But I mean anyone who has "inside" knowledge on this kind of shit knows it's just psychological theater, effective psychological theater because that and glowops of "stopped shooters" seem to deter a lot of people.
That's not even going into the idea of a possible revolution when either side is too subverted to the point the only things they can do are serve their masters or post opinions that don't threaten the system, and anyone who thinks that there will be another BlackBerry Riot or Facebook Revolution circa early 2010s doesn't realize that websites/chat apps either get subverted or outright taken over by the feds, or in countries where said corporations are hostile to them temporarily shut down so nobody can use them to organize/complain on Twitter.
I heard one of the reasons Russia didn't fuck up as much as Ukraine did during this war is because a lot of the Russians aren't dumb enough to use social media in a warzone, even when the right arm of NATO/UN is doing things such as unhiding Russian bases from Google Maps. Don't forget "OSINT", which is a fancy ass buzzword for "I used Google maps to find out where these guys are at IRL".
On the flipside more and more normies are learning about the WEF and I saw a Twitter post saying that zoomers are lapping up Evola and Uncle Ted like crazy, so...
Most people are hamsters. They do what is easy. This is the flaw of democracy.
One must be careful with stories. They are anecdotal, after all.
Many people will prefer to live in denial and bow to the decay rather than resist it.

Personally, people are going to simplify.
Politically, societies will either demand some fixes... or become third world ruins with a handful of rich people ruling over the many poor, diseased, and stupid.
Very sad, but most societies choose ruin over success.
