Text feeds gossip and misquotes more easily whilst voice allows the message and context to be preserved...
Imagine a tabloid newspaper and how it put big headlines (large font website links are also similar in a page) and you have similar "short-text" of baiting reaction-first thoughts and understanding-later (if information is there and people decide to read more).
The headlines and people's assumptions and existing feelings often get there first and fuel things (including misunderstanding the reality)
So while it's more obviously in scandal-driven newspapers of the past, now people can even boost what they don't know...
Even if we are wrong or right to assume it's more of the same by Capitalism or whatever leader... it's still begs the question "What are we doing about it as individuals or groups... are we building a way and bridging towards each other instead of watching headlines?"
This is why I'd like us to take it more on a personal and more-honest level of talking (audio chat also being a more private and low-key version to video and bandwidth it needs)
Summary:
Once we peer-to-peer a bit more we can focus less on the same-old scandals that are repeating itself and just focus on a different way probably by practising it (i.e. talking to everyone!)
So we are not ignoring scandals (and anyway can't) but not being swept up in text and getting the people-work back on track every day is what I see as the biggest punch out of their text-driven system / mindset.
Does depend on what you're reading but most of it could be arguably the same... whereas people are a lot more unique and real. Look forward to talking more with you about anything
(probably talking about scandals but I hope eventually towards practising what Capitalism has largely cut out (The People / How people feel / What we can do / Working it out between ourselves ).
Bit of text will be there as always and is good compliment!
BUT more Audio talks (1to1 or 1toMany) for the way if you're doing near-0 currently.
