Does anyone use jmp.chat or any other XMPP-as-VOIP service?

I'm a little confused about which XMPP app to use on android to work best with the service (for texts, vms, and phone calls, obviously)

Ok, I'm making some headway.
Their support chat was very helpful.

If I could find out how to make a complete backup of all my XMPP chats/media, that would be really clutch. I'm talking about pdfs or text files (and original media files), not just an opaque db file that can be restored from, but not peered into).

I have to be able to save all chats in a human-readable format for my work.

I still have my account, but it's difficult to test it more, because porting my cell number over can't easily be undone.

Also, the desktop clients don't have the same address book integration that cheogram for Android has, so that's kind of a drag.

It might not be a good fit for me, as I require the ability to back up and recall *every* text message, and to produce a printout of a conversation for legal reasons.
