Chess is not great unless you let the less able players take back moves once in a while.
This is why teaching someone should always involve take-backs to progress.
It let's them get better while you have to make sure they are also more likely to let others learn and not be so cut-throat (else consider not teaching them these tricks).
This is the equivalent of Pay-It-Forward mentality also (whether as community or singular person) where the idea is to learn and be nice (rather than learn and be a bastard / dominate / stay on top).
How nice I am.
- No need kill people for real unless it's friendly sports and not just the art of pushing people down / art of money / art of war / art of empire.
- Shouldn't matter if we're not the best in everything - there is a place for everyone in more diverse-loving places.
- Shouldn't have to be specialists expected to be hired to go sniping for others for less mutual things.
