I didn't get how it gets people to thrive and participate (?)
Is it just the clarity and premise of Health & Safety more than anything?
@freeschool @downey I saw it as a declaration that we expect conferences to take basic steps to not kill us, which many currently do not.
Some conferences have no COVID policy. Others have announced mandatory masking and vaccinations, only to lower or remove those requirements after people have already booked hotels and flights.
This declaration is saying that we expect better.
I support it, but unfortunately can't sign it as it's a Google form.
