Climate Change / System Change ? ... Protest or Personal Change ?

@gretathunberg Climate Change / System Change ? ... Protest or Personal Change ?

Hello, appreciate the efforts sincerely... and just for some contrast and idea for a different way to see change (as well as asking / protesting) I think simple types of advice or ideas for your followers would also end up saving planet and save big energy even 5 minutes after your posting something I mention or anything useful practical you think of people can do for them self without big noise.

What I do myself and see as effort is mainly the *changing of habits* to save climate... including what I do and don't do *every day* or to less extremes test things out... which modern day has trained and conditioned us into thinking it's ok... "normal".

So perhaps you all can try apply this if you buy / shop / carry home toilet paper to use a rag or t-shirt piece and use less washing machines for clothes (yes they machines wash perfect but at a BIG cost of matrrials, industry of it all, the chemical powder, repairs etc)...

The point is people's mind at the end of the day (maybe yours too) which need to be aligned a bit more personally with what they/you do *each day*... I think not to aim for a too clean or almost a fascist kind of perfection or expectations we can have everything 'white'. All your clothes look super clean btw :) ok small joke to the activists...but modern day has trained / conditioned us into thinking it's ok to kill 99% of bacteria or bleach everything steralise / not tolerate stains etc.

So while I don't want to attack (and I take back the mini-judgement above) this is all very personal politics so ask yourself if you're prepared to change toilet paper for washable cloth and handwash clothes...a bit more often? If not you have the answer perhaps why people don't change or find it hard to step down from luxuries of false super-machines / materials.

Basically fixing people's image of "it's ok" can actually demand less power at coal power station, less hot water and just get people to try cold / warm water and a bucket a few times in between super-washes...and be done with people thinking it's full time protest that's needed or "all or nothing" ways. These ways are also needed for this type of change.
More silent thoughts and actions are also deadly and effective. No need disturb / announce to wrong people.

You have power to influence in this way also and my suggestion is to use it for people who can apply it today as changing habits / changing planet. ♡
