I have read some articles about the 50th anniversary of #DungeonsAndDragons and some of the original manual pics looked familiar to me. So I went rooting around in my collection of long forgotten boxes and discovered that my Uncle hadn't just given me some original D&D books almost thirty years ago, he gave me what appears to be an extension collection.
He told me not to touch em cause they might be worth something one day and teenager Jay listened for once. Too well perhaps.
@JayLittle Yes the relationship stuff is kinda heavy but I realised it's kinda part of it and letting go; making more happy relationships and better ones though them being around or being bloodline can be hard
(When we have lots of relationships then we don't mind a bit of fallout, but needing tooo much can help stay in bad ones)...
So it's maybe no comfort or for me to say but finding and trusting more strangers, giving things away and even selling things off... isn't so bad, ultimately releases space and what will only get water or air damage later... also in some sense it's just tat or someone else's baggage and I wouldn't have chosen my family maybe, so it's just about finding / creating more positive instead of hanging onto same old branches that well aren't the same as us... hope that's positive in it's own way and don't claim to know you or everything about this - just a lot I could relate to and it's about relativity / humanity in the end...
I'd love to chat more (just a little) if you want or just let it sit too...
Thanks for sharing - getting 'rid' while appreciating (even taking pictures as a memory then giving away) is not easy but can be fun if really we were not into anyway!
Happy to help you / encourage any way I can and be real.
Ultimately you make decision when it feels right.
