Maybe the folks on #Noagendasocial should engage in some basic lessons in being civilized and not hurling homophobic and racist insults at people with a different opinion?
Maybe some moderators should take care of the nuttiest users of that instance?
FYI I'm about to block that instance as well after way too many insults from its users.

What do you expect them to do, take them out back and shoot them? You have the ability to block individuals for a reason, use the block button and leave other people out of it.

Nothing says "civilized" like blacklisting a group of thousands of people from communicating with thousands of other people you don't even know, on the grounds that a couple of them are racist assholes. How about we cut the water, food, natural gas and electricity to your whole city? Or are you telling me there isn't a single racist asshole in your city? Or perhaps country? That's collective punishment of the same kind you are doing -- for all you know you are cutting people from communicating with their public utility, their doctor, their lawyer, or their local democratically elected representative, just because of the instance they have chosen, because of the radio show they tend to listen to.
@jeffcliff @bikejourno The first reply seemed quite well done, a good measure of direct by Jeff and maybe for 'perfection' a little more added text and added fire in the end paragraph until "on the grounds that a couple of them are racist asshole."
which all said it well that there a few and need customising to taste using block...
I saw bikejourno as wanting perfecting of population or some kind of education etc but really it is how it is here... and that's great to know... as much as I might sound like OP perhaps I too am learning...
And even the after-comments quite ok... so overall quite good stuff.
